Honoring Stanley A. Deal, Executive Vice President (ret.) of The Boeing Company and President and Chief Executive Officer (ret.) of Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Stan Deal was the executive vice president of The Boeing Company and held the positions of president and chief executive officer of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Appointed to this role in October 2019, he oversaw the delivery of a range of highly efficient airplanes to global customers and led the growth of Boeing’s commercial airplane programs.

With a career at Boeing since 1986, Deal has held diverse leadership roles, including senior vice president of Commercial Aviation Services and various positions in Sales and Marketing. He has been instrumental in achieving record performance and played a key role in supply chain strategy and management.

Apart from his former corporate responsibilities, Deal serves on the boards of Challenge Seattle, Washington Roundtable, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, contributing to civic challenges, economic vitality and the promotion of aviation history and education. Deal holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
