The Vaughn College Warriors, second-seeded in the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference tournament, will play third-seeded St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn in the conference semifinals on Saturday, February 19.

The Warriors-St.Joseph’s contest, at 4 p.m., will follow the semifinal game between top-seeded Berkeley College and fourth-ranked Albany College of Pharmacy. That game begins at 2 p.m.; all games will be played at the gym at the College of New Rochelle. Directions here.

The semifinal winners will meet in the championship game on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Vaughn, 12-11 this season and 4-2 in the HVMAC, lost, 67-57, to St. Joseph’s on January 31 in the teams’ only meeting of the season.

Vaughn led St. Joseph’s, 31-29, at halftime but a strong effort after intermission enabled St. Joseph’s to secure the victory. Center Mahdi Macbahi led Vaughn with 16 points and 15 rebounds while guard Jason Ramos added 13 points.
