Warriors’ Macbahi Receives League Honor

Vaughn College junior center Mahdi Macbahi was named to the Hudson Valley Men’s Athletic Conference honor roll this week for his performance in the Warriors’ 79-75 loss to Drew University on January 25.

Macbahi scored 18 points and added five rebounds as the Warriors challenged powerful Drew, a non-conference opponent. He is the fourth Vaughn player to be honored by the league this season: Earlier, Al-Ameen Kabba, Joe Douglas and Rupy Avila were named conference Rookies of the Week.
