On Thursday, February 7, friends, family, faculty and staff gathered in the main lobby to honor Vaughn College’s top students at the semiannual Academic Honors Awards Ceremony. Over 300 students with high grade point averages were named to the Fall 2012 Faculty’s List, Dean’s List or President’s List.

“There was an incredible turnout at the event to celebrate the academic achievements of these top Vaughn students,” said College President Dr. John Fitzpatrick. “Their hard work and dedication is evident in their accomplishments and it was wonderful to share the night with so many supportive friends and family members.”

Domenic Proscia announced the recipients while Dr. John Fitzpatrick, Dr. Hossein Rahemi and Thomas Broschart presented the students with their awards during the ceremony. Students whose grade point averages were between 3.50 and 3.67 (Faculty’s List); 3.68 and 3.84 (Dean’s List); and 3.85 and 4.0 (President’s List) made up the group being honored.
