In October, more than 200 students and 30 employer companies filled the hangar to attend Vaughn’s fall career fair hosted by career services. Employers offered students information regarding careers and internship opportunities for the fall and spring semesters. The companies in attendance included American Airlines, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Brookhaven National Laboratories, Delta Airlines, Dayton T. Brown Engineering and many more.

More than 10 of the organizations in attendance were making their first trip to the College including Amphenol Aerospace, Valcor Engineering, GA Telesis and the U.S. Coast Guard.

“The career fair was a success as we engaged with more than 200+ students and 30 employers, several of whom were making their first visit to the College,” said Chaundra Daniels, director of career services. “Our students had the opportunity to showcase their skills to employers and obtain feedback on their resumes and next steps on applying for internship and employment opportunities.”

The next career fair is scheduled to be held in the spring semester.
