On Thursday September 24, the Vaughn College Office of Career Services hosted its fall career fair.  Sixty-seven employers filled the hangar in order to network with more than 300 Vaughn students.  The career fair is a great way for students to meet and build professional relationships with employers in industries that the institution serves.

“This was one of the most successful career fair events we’ve had,” said Philip Meade, director of career services.  “This is a great way for the students to see what job opportunities are available and to see what employers are looking for in potential hires.”

Dylan Charles, a former Vaughn student, now works for the Air Serv Corporation, a commercial aviation supporter.

“I received my first job in aviation from attending a career fair at Vaughn as a student, and it’s great to come full circle and offer support to current students,” said Charles. “Even though the facilities have changed, the quality of a Vaughn education is still the same.”

The office of career services will hold another career fair in the spring semester.
