Vaughn College recognized more than 350 top scholars at its semiannual Academic Honors ceremony on Thursday, March 13 in the main lobby. Students with high grade point averages were named to the Fall 2013 Faculty’s List, Dean’s List or President’s List.

Dean of Academic Affairs Paul LaVergne opened the ceremony by welcoming Vaughn faculty, staff, parents and family members to the event to congratulate the recipients on their achievements.

“It’s an honor to celebrate the accomplishments made by the students before us today as we commend their hard work and dedication,” said LaVergne.

Dr. Ray Addabbo, arts and sciences chair, Dr. Hossein Rahemi, engineering and technology chair, and Thomas Broschart, professor and faculty senate president presented students with individual certificates to recognize their achievements. Students whose grade point averages were between 3.50 and 3.67 (Faculty’s List); 3.68 and 3.84 (Dean’s List); and 3.85 and 4.0 (President’s List) made up the group being honored.
