The Vaughn College Management Department speaker series continued for the fall semester on Friday, February 5. This week’s speaker series featured Edward Baklor, vice president of inflight experience at JetBlue Airways. 

At the company, he is responsible for the carrier’s 5,000 award-winning inflight crew members. Prior to joining JetBlue, Baklor served as the chief commercial officer at LaGuardia Gateway Partners and was responsible for transforming commercial and guest experiences at LaGuardia’s Airport’s Terminal B. In addition to that prior position, Baklor also served as the senior vice president of guest experience at WestJet. There he led the carrier’s airport operations, inflight and contact center teams.

More than 30 students joined to learn about the latest careers, strategies of the aviation field’s progress during the pandemic.
