On Tuesday, February 28 Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Vaughn alumnus Ken Stauffer ’83 came to Vaughn to give business advice to students regarding entrepreneurial endeavors. Stauffer has been an IEEE member for 35 years and is also CEO and co-founder of Technology Assurance Labs.

“When I started my first business I was definitely scared but if you prepare, prepare, prepare, then there’s nothing that you can’t handle,” said Stauffer.

Stauffer provided informative knowledge from his presentation “Curiosity Creativity, Courage and Hard Work” which broke down the steps necessary to develop any business. Following his presentation, he opened the floor to student questions.
