The Honorable Christopher Hart came back to Vaughn College to speak in the Spring 2018 management speaker series on Friday, March 9. Hart is a retired chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board and presented on “Applying Aviation Learning to Improve Driverless Cars and Workplace Safety.”

“The reason I love what I do is because I’m passionate about my professional talent,” said Hart. “What your College gives you is a clear path to do that as well.”

Hart spoke on determining how automation efforts can benefit travelers and how human error can also play into that. He cited his experience in accident investigation and opened his presentation to questions to attendees on that experience.
