WHAT YOU'LL STUDY

Our mechatronic engineering curriculum is constantly expanding with the ever-changing needs and demands of the engineering industry. Our rigorous program has two primary objectives: 1). To provide a link between academia and the industry, and 2). To teach students to understand and work with analytical, computational, and experimental methods of mechatronic engineering. The goal of the mechatronic engineering curriculum is to give graduates the ability to evaluate these methods and use them in practical situations in order to help find the best solutions.

The mechatronic engineering curriculum includes a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and electronics in addition to a wide selection of electives. These include advanced digital design, data acquisition, the introduction to electronic power systems, design and computer programming, among others. Students gain a broad-based understanding of the fundamental technical subject areas in mechatronic engineering, which will prepare them to pursue full-time jobs after graduating.
