About

Eager to focus on mechatronic engineering, Dr. Shouling He, a native of China, came to Vaughn from Pennsylvania State University in the summer of 2011.

“Mechatronic engineering was exactly what I wanted to teach, and Vaughn needed someone that knew mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering.” She described stepping into her role as a mechatronic engineering professor as “exciting.”

Besides having a range of degrees in the engineering field, and over ten years teaching experience, she also has over eight years of experience in the aerospace space industry as an engineer.
