WHAT YOU'LL STUDY

Is aviation a career you are interested in? Upon completing the aviation maintenance associate degree, you can pursue general, corporate or airline aviation as maintenance and overhaul technicians. You can also pursue positions in aircraft manufacturing or related industries. These careers are all possible with the aviation maintenance courses we offer―covering general education and specific aviation maintenance methods and theory.

Vaughn College awards 30 college credits to students who receive the airframe and powerplant (A&P) certificate or who successfully complete Vaughn’s Aviation Training Institute approved curriculum (or an equivalent military certificate of eligibility).

Careers

Students who complete the aviation maintenance associate degree can either enter the workforce at an entry-level job level in aviation maintenance or related fields, or move on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance from Vaughn College.

Graduates of the aviation maintenance associate program pursue positions in a variety of airline and flight operations departments, in addition to component manufacturing and repair shop roles. Vaughn’s extensive network in the industry―and with alumni―allows students to pursue internships during their coursework and full-time roles shortly after finishing the degree. Aviation maintenance technician jobs are in high demand with the changes in technology―and our curriculum will prepare you to succeed in these roles.
