A CNN interview featuring Vaughn College professor Dr. Maxine Lubner, interim chair of the Aviation and Management departments, aired Tuesday (Nov. 23) as part of the network’s American Morning program.

Interviewed by reporter Allan Chernoff, Dr. Lubner detailed issues related to pilot fatigue, a hot-button issue in aviation lately.

The two-minute-long report opened with Dr. Lubner explaining that it is easy to become fatigued in the cockpit. “Fatigued, bored or distracted,” Dr. Lubner says. “Fatigue is a dangerous thing. It’s caused many accidents and deaths.”
