The first step in the College’s three-year soundproofing project was taken Wednesday (Nov. 30) with the temporary relocation of the Q33 bus stop on 23rd Avenue and 87th Street one block west to 23rd Avenue and 88th Street.

The Q33 connects LaGuardia Airport with Jackson Heights. The new stop, marked by a pole, will remain in place through the first phase of the soundproofing project, lasting about eight months. Bus schedules are not expected to change.
