We welcome your interest in Vaughn’s international program. Vaughn’s India initiative is a significant first step toward the internationalization of our campus, to meet with the demands and needs of the global economy and to produce an internationally oriented and highly qualified workforce. 

October 2007 Vaughn kicked off its global initiative in collaboration with Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) in Hyderabad, India.

Initially, Vaughn has received approval to offer three bachelors degree programs from the regional accreditation bodies including the All India Council on Technology Education in India and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the US. The programs include: a bachelor of science (BS) in electronic engineering technology – avionics; a BS in airline management and a BS in airport management. Students also have an option to take a dual-major degree in airline and airport management.

The program was launched with an initial enrollment of 60 students at the SNIST campus.  Within a year, this figure had tripled and to date, there are 183 students enrolled in two of Vaughn’s degree programs. We anticipate enrollment to increase by 67 percent by July 2009.

We are excited about the opportunities that are being created through this international program.   It enables Vaughn College and SNIST students, faculty and staff to work together to create a conducive and nurturing global workforce environment.

We are committed to building on to the success of the India experience and, most importantly, to the success of every one of our students. We plan a further expansion of our international program offerings in the coming years to include other locations in India and beyond..
