Assistant to the executive director of training for Aviation Training Institute.
Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology seeks
applicants for a full time assistant to the executive director of training position
for its Aviation Training Institute. The Aviation Training Institute houses
non-collegiate studies in an FAA approved part 147 curriculum allowing students
to ready themselves for careers in aviation maintenance.
Specific
responsibilities . This position calls for an individual who is committed
to student’s technical education so that students can achieve success in the
aviation maintenance fields. This person will be responsible for the
maintenance of the student database, the make-up of any time not carried out by
the course instructor, and the oversight of the laboratories including the
maintenance of equipment in the labs with the assistance of the hangar staff.
Additional duties include advising students, and attending departmental
meetings
The successful candidate is expected to teach lectures and
labs in assigned aviation maintenance subjects, maintain student attendance and
grade records, enhance educational materials as needed, as well grade projects
and exams.
Qualifications: A
minimum requirement for this position is FAA Airframe and Powerplant
certifications. A bachelors degree as well a minimum of two years aviation
maintenance experience is preferred. Academic/professional aviation credentials
are a plus.

Full-Time Food Service Workers
Vaughn College is currently seeking full-time food service workers for its Mercado Café. These individuals are responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, daily lunch and dinner, as well as performing stock and cleaning duties in the cafeteria.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve hot and cold foods daily
Organize and clean refrigerators
Clean up kitchen, serving and dining areas
Restock food and non-food supplies
Perform all other related duties that are assigned by the supervisor
Skills and Abilities:

International Adjunct Teaching Positions
Avionics: Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach three-week sessions at Vaughn’s additional location in Hyderabad, India. The three-week instruction sessions will be offered from 2009 through 2010. The faculty will be responsible to teach 20 hours of lecture and 45 lab hours during the three weeks, which will be followed by 10 hours of instruction online. Applicants must have a graduate degree in electronics/ avionics, doctoral degree preferred. Related industrial experience is required. Prior teaching experience including online courses is a plus. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily in avionics courses such as aircraft communications, navigation systems, radar systems etc. Attractive compensation along with travel and boarding expenses will be provided.
